LawBridge - Global Legal Network

We want to build the world's largest network of independent lawyers

LawBridge is a technology platform, not a law firm. We want independent lawyers and law firms from as many countries as possible to be on it, and people and businesses to find them easily, wherever their problem arose.

Legal problems don't stop at borders

People live, work, run businesses and inherit across countries. Legal services, however, still work mostly locally: every country has its own law, language and professional rules.

Finding a lawyer abroad who understands your specific situation is therefore often harder than the problem itself. We want to change that.

One gateway to legal help

LawBridge should be a place a person or a business can turn to regardless of:

  • where they live,
  • where they do business,
  • where the problem arose,
  • which legal system it concerns,
  • which language they speak,
  • whether the case involves one country or several.

Clients don't need to know the right jurisdiction or the legal name of their problem. They describe what happened, and we help them find lawyers who handle such cases.

What LawBridge is and what it isn't

LawBridge is an independent technology and marketing platform. We give lawyers and law firms a profile, visibility and software, and clients a simple way to describe their situation and find a suitable professional.

At the same time:

  • we are not a law firm and do not provide legal services, advice or representation,
  • we are not a party to the relationship between lawyer and client,
  • we take no intermediation fee and no share of the lawyer's fee,
  • we do not decide whether a lawyer takes a case; that is always the lawyer's decision.

Lawyers pay nothing for receiving, opening or accepting a client request. Paid plans cover the profile, advertising and software, not leads, contacts or matching. A Standard request is free. Priority and Exclusive processing (the only options for cross-border matters) are paid LawBridge services covering only the processing, verification and priority of the request; they are not legal services and not a lawyer's fee. Legal services are paid separately, and the client agrees their price directly with the lawyer.

Local expertise, global reach

No lawyer or law firm can know the law of every country.

But each brings their own experience, knowledge of the local environment and the licence to provide legal services in their jurisdiction. The more such professionals there are in one place, the easier it is for a client to find the right one, wherever their case reaches.

If a case needs lawyers from several countries, each of them provides their services independently, under their own responsibility and under the contract the client concludes with them.

LawBridge for clients, LawNetworking.com for lawyers

LawBridge is a public platform: this is where clients look for lawyers and lawyers present their expertise. It is LawBridge that we want to build into the world's largest network of independent lawyers.

LawNetworking.com will be a separate, closed network for lawyers and law firms only. It will not be open to the public and will not be used to request legal services. It will serve to build relationships between lawyers.

This is not a merger of firms into one company or a shared practice. Every member stays independent and responsible for their own work. The network will, however, allow them to:

  • find a trusted colleague in another jurisdiction,
  • cooperate on cross-border cases, each within the scope of their own licence,
  • share knowledge of the local legal and business environment,
  • work internationally without opening offices abroad.

Where we are heading

We build on the experience of our founder, who has been recruiting and connecting lawyers in the Czech Republic and abroad since 2007. We are starting in the Czech Republic and in Europe, because every global project first has to show that it works in a specific market.

Our long-term goal is for LawBridge to become the world's largest digital network of independent lawyers and law firms, measured by the number of participating professionals, countries and languages. This is our ambition, not the current state. We want to add more countries, languages and areas of law step by step.

We are not trying to create a big law firm. Every lawyer in the network stays independent; our job is to make sure clients from other countries can find them.
