1. Original or certified copy of your marriage certificate
2. Birth certificates of any minor children
3. Proof of your last shared residence
4. A written agreement on child custody and contact, if you have children together
5. A written agreement on child support
6. A property-settlement agreement, if you've reached one
7. Proof of income (for the child-support calculation)
8. The completed divorce petition addressed to the relevant district court
9. Payment of the court fee
